Shot and a new toy!

So emma is TWO months old already! i cant believe it! Well today she got her DTaP shot and Rotavirus by mouth. She didnt mind that one to bad, but with the shot she made THE sadest face and the saddest cry ive ever heard. i waited to cry until i got in the car. I figure this is officially motherhood! haha! Well after that ordeal, we (emma and i) decided to go to babies r us and get her a toy. Well we foun dthis cute chair and emma LOVES it!

when infants refuse to nap!

So really i cant complain because emma sleeps through the night (not counting the feedings, which techincally take 10 minutes or less, so i dont count those) But this girl LOVES the mornings(i HATE mornings, but its much easier to wake up at 8 or 9am with a baby smiling at you) And then during the day she'll take maybe one or two 20 minute naps... sometimes if im lucky she'll go down at 4 to about 6..we're TRYING to make that a habit! Anywho! Tonight i got home with my refusing to sleep baby... laid her on my bed while i cleaned and reorganized the closet, she was fussing a bit so i just talked to her. I turned around 2 minutes later....

And now it is 12:45am, im tired as heck... and shes smack in the middle of my side of the bed. Kelly and i joke, that we have a California King Bed, but have ended up with a queen! ha! so im thinking about taking kellys side right now while he's playing videogames... that'll teach him right? hahaha!!!

First time swimming!!!

So Emma and Ava decided to jump in the pool! They actually both really enjoyed it... even gettin splashed in the face by the neighborhood kids once in awhile... i guess it kept it exciting!



Emma was perfectly happy until tiffany aimed the camera at her she would make this face.... tiff would put it away and she was happy as can be! This could possibly be some foreshadowing... wish me luck.... :)

Beautiful Night

So tonight was SO pretty! The moon was SO bright... we had all the lights off and just using the moon for light! Tiffany and i even sat on the back patio eating cereal and enjoying the stars! This really isnt a rare occurrence... but sitting on my nice back patio is... Minus the cats its nice to enjoy it again!

So we got rid of the cats. Yes i love them dearly. But i am SO sick of cat hair being on the baby! Its so nasty to look at a sweet baby's face and see cat hair... or cat hair in her tiny lil fists... SICK! So on sunday we had to drop them off at petsmart... Tater( the big cat) was easy for kelly (yes i made him do the dirty work) put in the carrier.. but Tot watched the whole thing and she was NOY gonna have it... so she ran into the deepest cupboard we have and wouldnt BUDGE

This is some FRESH tuna.... she didnt take the bait.... in fact she wouldnt even LOOK at it!

Finally, kelly scared her out of there... and he said she just gave up and walked right in the carrier... how sad huh? haha! So that same time i scrubbed the HECK out of MY back patio.. which became the cats back patio w/ their litter box and all.... now its MINE no hair.. no poop no smell no CATS! I also vacuumed the heck out of my house.. and couches and pillows... washed the sheets and a few blankets!!!

AS you can tell im not to torn up about this. If you would like to buy these cats or just say hello to Tater and Tot,..... they are currently in Petsmart Adoption Center! I do miss tater a lot, he was our first "large" purchase ... we bought him December 22nd after we got married.... he was our "test" if we could keep him alive, we figured we could handle a baby! Soooooooo... soon Emma will be at petsmart....... SOOOO Just Kiddin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So instead of My Lil Pony.... i think Emma is gonna want GI joes! Yes that is her, asleep next to the TV while Kellys UAV was online! (playing Call of Duty)

So Adam and Mike got Emma this pack'n'play before she was born.... i set it up today to try it out before we go to Utah.. and to make sure i remember how to put it together... well Emma was screaming and crying and fussy all day... kelly got her to sleep and we laid her in it w/ the vibrations thingy on.... she LOVES it!!!!!! So thanks again Adam and Mikey!!!! you guys rock!

Thumb Sucker!

So miss emma has just about gotten this thumb suckin business down! And best part, she holds her pointer finger like I use to!!! This means shes gonna be amazing!!!!

Fashion Show!

So last night, aunt tiff ( man we gotta find a good name for her.. that doesnt flow) anywho... Ava was sleeping and emma was WIDE awake.... so we played dress up that turned into a fashion show!




Formal wear (blessing dress and no she hasnt been blessed yet... we're aiming for July 13th...)




Swimwear! im SO SO SO glad this fits her... (please see previous posts about zebra obsessions)


and casual wear, well somehow i didnt get a picture of that! But that was equally as cute! Sorry ava you missed out!

Jon and Kate plus 8

First of all i LOVE jon and kate plus 8.... and apparently so does emma.... She loves watching it.. and in fact fusses during commercials! haha!

worlds sadest face!

so emma was having wigggle time (she falls asleep for tummy time!) she was smiling like crazy so i was tryin to get a good picture and this is the face i caught! how sad is that?!


Also we are getting rid of our cats. i love them dearly and will miss them a ton.... but EVERYday no matter how many times a vacuum or use the lint roller...... this is what my couches CONSTANTLY look like!!! and it drives me nuts! i cant sit down or lay emma down ANYWHERE!! So sunday is the day they are GONE!!! See ya later suckers!!!!!!!!
Tiff and i had a "girls night out" Emma andAva came along too! FIrst of all i have to tell you what a HORRIBLE mother i am! On our way to target emma was her normal fussy/crying self ( yes she finally cires A LOT now ) tiff and i kept shhhh'ing her and turning up the music ( she likes it i swear) well we got to target and i went to get her out to feed her... and her head band/bow was around her eyes!!!!!! how sad is that? no wonder she was crying, poor girl thought she went blind!!! i felt and still feel horrible!!

anywho.. to make myself feel better( just kidding ) but really..... look what i found!!!!!


for those of you who dont know i LOVE zebra... i believe ive blogged about my zebra obsession... but i love love love anything and everything zebra! Paint a pile of poo zebra stripe... and love it is! hahahahahahahah!!! anyways this is hung in my kitchen above my sink and behind it is our red wall so it looks sooooo sexy! Im a happy happy camper now!

SO kellys wonderful Aunts got emma a swing before she was born... and she LOVES it... that is... when she wants....


But lately at night shes been fussy and the only thing that really calms her down and puts her to sleep... is her cousin Ava's swing....

She loves it everytime... and just sits contently and slowly falls asleep! hahaha! I guess when things arent yours... it always seems better... like other peoples french fries are always so much more delicious! hahahaha! Its hilarious though, because Ava will just stare at Emma in her swing.... Thanks tiff for the late night swing-fests!

So miss emma is losing her lushes locks.....and her hairline resembles a few people....

We also had our first day at CHURCH! and emma wasnt to excited about it! hahahahaha
Today we ventured off to the mall to get her ears pierced... i have never been so scared/nervous in my LIFE!!! luckily when we got there the lady said she has to be 2 months!!!! as you can see we were both relieved!!!! poor ava tookthe bullet though...
