Jump for joy!

Today Emmas Grammy and Papa Casey got emma a "jumperoo"! And Emma absolutely LOVES it! It took kelly and i a few good minutes to build it. By a few minutes i mean, lets juts say if this was an IQ test, we would had FAILED! haha! Anywho, once we put emma in it, she instantly grabbed onto the toys and started laughing! Its a whole new world in her eyes! I grabbed her legs from underneath to show her how to jump, laughter galore! haha! So THANK YOU GRAMMY AND PAPA CASEY!!!!!!!!!!!!


And im thinking this is the #1 reason emma needed this thing, we need to work out these thighs, sorry sweetie you get those from the Christensen Blood in ya!!! haha!

Funny Emails

So i get an email each week, it started when i was pregnant, every week this website would e mail telling me what was going on inside of me. It was the highlight of my Mondays! Well now that Emma is here, they email me updates about whats going on in Miss Emma's head, and what she should be doing by now! There is always a funny part at the bottom to make you laugh, and this one cracked me up so i though I'd share it with you all!

• Stacking today's unread newspaper on top of yesterday's unread newspaper.
• Eating dinner like we're trying to break a world record for the most pasta swallowed in the shortest amount of time. Standing up.
• Letting your partner choose between poop and laundry as a topic of conversation.
• Figuring out how to pee without putting the baby down.
• Wearing a bra that looks like something from a 1930s catalog.
• Spending three hours getting the baby to sleep and then waking her up two minutes later to make sure she's still breathing.
• Forgetting what you were...

i can honestly say, i can relate to every single one of these! hahaha! welcome to motherhood!

 My baby is cute, but oh man does she look gorgeous in zebra! My two favs in one!

My little gymnast

Emma constantly has her feet in the air. and i mean constantly. at night i know when she is waking up by looking over and seeing her feet sticking up out of the bassinet! in the bath she keeps them up! Although this does make diaper changing quite easy! Lately she has discovered her toes! So the whole feet in the air has just increased, she loves holding on to them!





And thanks to aunt tiffany, she thinks she can stand now! The other night tiffany decided to teach emma how to stand, and now she loves it! Although she is not as steady as her cousin, practice makes perfect right? Thanks Aunt TT!

Three Random Surprising Facts about ME!

1. Im OCD. I count steps, things have to be lined up, and in the right place!

2. Im a reformed nail biter. I use to bite them soooo much, now im obsessed with letting them grow out, filing them, and painting them, and emmas too! ha!

3. I use to be a boy. Ok tomboy. I had super short hair, and dressed like a boy. I still am at heart, i just buy girl clothes now, and let my hair grow out.

Roll over bethoven!

Emma rolled over for the first time!!!!! Shes been rolling onto her side for a week now and i thought that was impressive, then today she showed me!!! My mom laughs because she kinda uses her tiny nose to roll... her face goes first and then everything follows! Who knew i would be SO excited and SO choked up about a baby rolling over to her tummy for the first time!!!

Oh how time flies

Our lil miss em has gotten so big! She is now 3 months old! and almost doesnt fit in her bassinet next to our bed :( I was almost asleep right now, when i looked in the bassinet and realized my poor girl is running out of room!

My new favorite dress

So today i decided to go shoppin with my birthday money! Im not usually one for shopping, but baby clothes just get me! Kelly Emma and i went to Old NAvy and i hit the jack pot!!! 

Its my birtrhday and ill cry if i want to!!

Ok so yesterday was my birthday, and i didnt cry! But i like that song! I had an awesome birthday! It started off with Emma and i sleeping in until 10! Lately shes been getting up at 8, and i am NOT a morning person! ha!


So we woke up and hurried to MCdonalds for their delicious Hotcakes and Diet Coke! oN our way out the door i was surprised with being Heart Attacked by my sister!!!! and it is still on the door today! haa! I love it! Well pretty much the whole day we hung out with Tiff and her kids! Then dinner at moms with family! Over all it was a fun and relaxing day!
