I feel bad I havent blogged in oh so long, but who cares really right??

Readers Digest version of what has happened since last post.....

We moved back to California! Long story short, i couldnt handle it. :) Lucy was born September 21st! (that gets its own post) Kelly is working at ADP, and FedEx. ADP is temporary for now, and we are hoping and praying he gets hired on. FedEx is only part time at night, and we are praying he gets a driving job there soon. So one of those HAS to work out, right? Moral of the story, he is no longer driving LONG distances, and we see him EVERYDAY!!!!

Emma is in School, and couldnt be happier about it! She goes 3 days a week and loves every moment of it. I love all the stories i get to hear. Its weird she has her own little life now, and stuff happens that i dont know about. haha.

I am doing good as well, nested the heck out of my house before Lucy came. And now just trying to adjust to having two little girls needing me and wanting me at the same time! Its amazing how multi tasking has become a new sport in my world. Some things seem impossible at first, and now i feel like an old pro.

Lucy is 2 months old ALREADY! i knew emma grew up fast, but sheesh i feel like it just happened! She is 11 pounds 1ounce, and 22 1/2 inches long. My lil nugget. she hasnt hit the 50th percentile just yest, but emma didnt get up there until she was 2 years old. Im thinking Lucy might be bigger than Emma. Emma is SUCH a great big sister! It really amazes me what a helper she wants to be, and how much she just truly LOVES lucy, she kisses her non stop. and will just stare at her and tell me, "Mom i can NOT believe we have a baby!!!"

All in all, life is hectic but we are happy to be HOME!

Cali Trip, Again

Emma and i were pretty homesick, so we flew to CA for a few weeks, and boy did we need that sunshine and happiness! We were also there for Easter, and My sister-In-laws baby shower!!

We met up with Kelly and the friends in St George for the weekend! It was SO fun! My mom bought kites for all the kids!

At the bottom of the hill is a small putting green. The kids referred to it as mini golf!

Emma would place the ball less than an inch from the hole, and would tap it in! thats MY girl!!

On saturday we went to Las Vegas! We had lunch at Margaratiaville! Which normally its good, but this time was beyond awful. It took over an hour to get our food, and then our food was COLD! yuck

We decided to ride the monorail back from the MGM. Best 5 bucks ever!

And then we shopped til we dropped! Well, not really but we did go to a THREE STORY H&M!!

Emma and I got SPOILED these last couple weeks! My parents flew us out to Cali for a nice and MUCH needed visit!

I love this picture of emma! Looks nothing like her! we were both VERY tired, our flight left here at 630!

Blogger is having a hard time, or i am. all this pictures arent moving where i want them!

As soon as we got to Grammys (after breakfast with Ava, Jack, and TT at Mcdonalds!) we got in a swimsuit and played in the WARM WARM sunshine!!

And BUBBLES!

The next morning we went and got Emmas FAVORITE breakfast burritos from Molcasalsa! She kept saying, BEST BURRITO EVER!!!!

We played with Grammys Ipad, A LOT.

Pocky and Grammy got us lots of treats!!

We visited Nana and her Chickens! They have grown like 5 times the size they were! ( im terrible, and didnt get a picture of Emma and Nana, im terrible i know....)

We hung out with friends!

So Emma and i have been in Cali for the past 2 weeks, ill post about that later! However, my mom sister and the kids and i went to get an ultrasound today to see if its a girl, boy or panda! Sad for emma, definetly not a panda! But it IS A GIRL!!! YAY!!!!

This place we went to is beautiful! its a HUGE room, with two couches, and in front of the couches is a giant flat screen for your family to watch! the lady was SO sweet the whole time. at one point the baby had turned her back to us, so she had me get up to go potty, on my way back, i skipped. When i laid back down she had turned back around, that'll teach her, right? haha!

Some of the things i heard from the kids while i was laying on the table....

"i see a teddy bear!!!" -Ava
"Wow, thats a STRONG heartbeat!" -owen
" we're looking at her RIGHT NOW daddy!" _emm (on phone with kell)
"is that the actual size?" -not sure but HILARIOUS if you only saw how huge this tv was

I am SO SO SO HAPPY its a girl you have NO idea! Im also SO happy they all got to come with me, however, i wish kell was there! He did get to hear the heartbeat over the phone, and we'll see him Thursday to show him the pics!

We went to discovery gateway today! It was SO fun! A little spendy if you ask me, but i think emma thought it was WELL worth it! we were there for over 2 hours! Heres the pics....

I think the Water Play was her favorite.

THis thing was col. There was holes, and hoses everywhere, and you dropped the balls in and they would go all different ways, or make different noises!

This one would launch the ball up and around, it would blow emma's hair so funny!

She LOVED the grocery store too. She did and said a lot of things i do in the grocery store! I guess she pays attention ALL the time! HaHaHa

And the Chicken Coop. She was an expert at it thanks to Nana!

We went to the Planetarium down in Salt Lake. It was cute, but most the stuff was way over emmas head. However, we go tthese two super cute pictures! She especially loved it because she recently watched "Fly me To the Moon" and Planet 51. Both super cute movies!

Kellys Brother, Kit told us about this cool place up in Park City to go sledding. They have this pulley system that takes you up the hill, and then you slide down, obviously! Emma was SO SO SO excited! We actually planned on doing it last time we were up here, but then that stupid accident happend, and well we werent really feeling up to it! So lame. I was slightly bummed, because since im pregnant and the hills are so big I wasnt going to be able to do it. Well, it was my lucky day! It was rather "warm" a nice sizzling hot 57 degrees! I guess in Utah thats really warm. So due to the "warm weather" the hills were REALLY slow, people were complaining and they gave us a fair warning before we paid. i let everyone else go down a few times, then decided I would be ok. Dont judge me. it was fine! and SO fun! the fetus is fine, i promise! Anyways, enough gabbing, lets get to some pictures, right?!

Well! at the very top, theres a tiny but steep hill that it launches you down, and unhooks you!!!

Kyler was a good sport and came with us, he wasnt feeling well that day!

So today was a warm 50 degrees, emma and i were going stir crazy and decided to go for a walk, to 7-11,and check if the park in our complex isnt "frozen" anymore!

And it wasnt! yaY! so we stopped and played for a few minutes!

Emma is getting SO good at riding her bike! i kept letting go of the handle and she just peddled away, although she forgets she is the one steering sometimes...and ends up in the grass...

So we moved into our new apartment last Sunday, February 21st. Im still not 100% sure how i feel about it, so dont ask. anywho, my mom sent Emma this amazing package! It really helped brighten our day!

All the goodies!! Emma got a new big girl bed, so grammy bought her some new sheets! And of course a bunch of fun goodies! THANKS GRAMMY!!!

Kelly was only going to be in town for two weeks. so we did lots! Cuddled A LOT as well! :)

We went to the Discovery Science Museum. We soon found out emma was a little young, but our original plan was to go to Knotts, but it was beyond packed!

Played on the computer (this i think was her favorite!)

Played with the GREEN SCREEN! so fun

Since the theme was still christmas, we got to decorate cookies.

waiting for daddy at the airport. last time we got to see him was for the cruise in october. i was SO happy and excited when he came out, i forgot to take pics. just picture emma yelling DADDY! and then him holding her for like 30 minutes. SO cute.

Chase had devin, and got him those AWESOME underwear and a headset for the xbox, they got him a similar pair of underwear last year that was equally as hilarious!

and the circle ended there, and it got awkward. tiff and i ended up having eachother and we NEVER told!! So funny!

We went on a cruise back in october (told you i was behind)with some friends and it was BEYOND fun. We left little miss emma at Tiffs, she was excited. It was a lot easier to leave her than i thought? Sad, huh?

waiting.. and waiting...and waiting to get on. i wont name any names as to WHY we were WAITING so long. but you know who you ARE!

Our room. Kell was SO excited. haha! i wish i could uplaod the other pic he took. but i shouldnt. so if u ever wanna see it, ask. youll laugh. and so will i. again.

i love how they left these cute lil "animals" sometimes we couldnt tell what they were, but thought that counts and the NEVER ending hallway..

So the first day and a half. i was SICK. Miserable. it was funny dont get me wrong, but that boat felt like it was gonna topple over. and i felt like i was gonna puke any minute. i found my happy plave on Deck 10. and unfortunately the rest of the friends found me as well. there's pics. but you wont see them here.

FINALLY made it to catalina. we circled it ALL night so stupid idiots could camble. i was pissed.

worst way to spend a saturday

So we were out and about today (in utah) and we were stopped, and apparently the guy driving behind us didnt realize, because he hit us at like 40mph+. it hurt, so bad. but the worst part by far was feeling like we would never stop and not being able to get to Emma who was screaming in fear. im 100% sure ill have nightmares tonight. we are all ok. emma was checked out by the paramedics who arrived on scene. she looked good. i was afraid because our dvd player flew out of its harness cause we were hit so hard. our car deserves an A+ for how it took the impact though. i was very impressed.

so here are some pics cause i know you are curious.

he hit so hard it made the other side of the bumper pop off. we also hit the car in front of us because he pushed us about 8_10 feet.

i have NO idea how it came out! so scary! it hit emma in the head!

So my first reaction was to grab emma, i grabbed her and held her SO tight and just sat on the floor. (back story.... i have always BEGGED kell to take me to Hooters. why well, its funny, and i REALLY wanna try their wings. and lets be honest i LOVE To harass him) so im sitting there, freezing trying not to let my momma bear inside me attack this guy, and this pretty cute lil HOOTERS girl comes running across the street and takes emma and i inside! dream come true right?! except i was so scared emma was hurt i could have cared less. there was a random EMT lady there, blessing right?! she checked her out and said she was ok. she had a mark from the seatbelt on her neck and t hat was about it.

I am SO sore though. its amazing how i hurt pretty much everywhere, but luckily my friend Lindsey has a great husband who is a chiropractor. he treated me tonight and i feel so much better!! he rocks! if you are in the SLC area i know a GREAT chiropractor for yoU!!!!

Anywho, we are all ok just sore and achey. im sure tonight we wont get much sleep!

Our passes our up in January and we arent renewing :( so after kelly and i got back from our cruise (post to come i promise) we took emma to disneyland and went ALL out!!!! emmas favorite ride is the rockets that go in a circle, they make me SO sick so i always tell her, daddy will take her. so he did!!!!

but apparently i cant find the pics from that day. so enjoy these cute videos!

we waited for the pixar parade in california adventure, and seriously its the best!!! emma was getting so anxious and wanted to dance! sowhen the music finally started she started dancing but then realized the parade hadnt come out yet so she says, i want to dance!!!!! lol such drama!

Ok, so blogger wasn't letting me upload pics straight from my camera. i recently went and got some printed off, and ordered a CD copy of them all, and wa-la! blogger likes that better for whatever reason.

SO a few weeks ago, my friend Hillarys mom had extra tickets to knots berry farm from her school! So i took emma (she had never been) i havent been since i was real little so it was SO exciting for both of us!

So this was the first ride she did all alone and she LOVED it! Minus the buzz kill kid that cried and whinned the whole time! But she still enjoyed it!

Merry-Go-Round! Emma loves these things and tis one was aweome it had every animal, from pigs, to chickens, we rode it at lease 5 times! seriously so much better than disneyland it was SO empty and so fun!

i was bored, and so so hot. so we went on the log ride, emma didnt like it so much. lol

They also had this AWESOME truck ride. Emma was THRILLED to drive a truck "just like daddy!!!!"

we have annual passes to disneyland, have now for two years. but for some reason everytime we go its just as exciting!!! we had a mission this time though. we were there friday, and i found THE PERFECT halloween costume for miss emma. shes been asking to be a pirate. and boy did i find it! So we got the costume (adorable pictures to follow dont you worry) and then were on the hunt for the perfect "shiney" (sword)!

we didnt find it right away. but we found woody!!!!! emma was all talk until she got right up to him, then wasnt so sure about it. lol made for a funny picture though!

we met up with the downs' at Monster inc. its been awhile for ava. how hilariously sad is this picture? she loved it, well no not really she still hated it at then end! (disclaimer: tiff had NO idea how afraid ava was at this point, we JUST got on the ride. haha. still funny. not evil. )

we went and saw playhouse disney live on stage. coolest little kid show ever. the big boys (ethan owen and devin) cotinued on to the big rollercoasters.

this is the show. super cute and very interactive. highly recommend it if you have small children.

My mom is better at taking pictures than me. So i stole her camera so i can blog a little! ENJOY

4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. i love our family tradition of going up to a small town in Kanarravill Utah and doing family activities. Unfortunately, kelly wasnt able to come due to work. but we still had some good times!

We drove allllll the way up Cedar Mountain, to play in a dirty pile of snow! Emma loved it to say the lease. Hey, we're californians dont hate.

On the 4th is when the traditions start. We all wait in the back of our trucks for a small small town parade. its awesome!

And all those times you tell your children not to run into the street go flying out the window, because each float throws candy in the street!

all the goods. she had a little help.

we then walk to the town hall for a "talent" show. there is not much talent. but it calls for a good time.

after the parade and talent show. we all meet up at Top Spot to each lunch. its delicious!

This year my brother-in-law brought a 4wheeler. Emma was IN LOVE. Shes a dare devil and im not sure if she is afraid of anything. help me!

Besties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she learned her love for climbing rocks. we drove 50 billion hours to go to some restraunt in Zion. Luckily i had my sister with me to make the drive hilarious. the food was ok, but luckily there was this awesome petting zoo thing in the middle of nowhere. it was great!

im pretty sure each animal was 2 feet in the ground, but the kids loved it. for a couple bucks you got 2-3 full carrots to feed the animals. this is emma feeding a freakin donkey. note ava, who is being very cautious. emma practically stuck her hand in that things mouth. gross!

And then Emma ate her other carrot. typical.

Ive owned three cats in my life. First one was when i lived with my parents and i was a crazy teenager and hated life, and hated the cat who began to pee on everything of mine. Gave him away. Then Kelly and i got married and decided to get a cat. Tater was his name, im sure you can back log on this blog and find a post about him. Well after tater, i got greedy and thought he needed a friend and got another. named her Tot. (cute right?!?!) well then i got pregnant and my hormones went insane and no way no how was i gonna have cats around my precious little baby. Gave them away.

Now, we have Emma, who appreciates and loves animals. Some family friends of ours recently had kittens, well they personally didnt, thier cat did. Anywho. Yesssss we got one. His name is Max, hes 8 weeks out.

i told him to smile, and he did! how great is that?!

Anywho, Emma loves him, and he loves emma! hopefully we keep this one ;)

So a bunch of the moms from our newly revamped ward get together every friday. we mostly go to the parks and its SO fun! Well this week, Shannon planned a beach day! Emma has found a new love for the sand and beach and it is SO fun! of course i left my camera in the car until a couple hours into it. so i only got a couple of pictures....

I was getting ready to leave and emma laid on our blanket, i thought she was acting like she was sleep, so i bent over to ask if she was ready to go ( why do i ask her such things she is TWO i need to get out of this bad habit) anywho, she jumped because she was ALMOST asleep!! She was mad when i told her she can sleep in the car. so she got up kicked a ball around and then curled up in the sand again! Such a beach bum! i wish we could have stayed ALL day, but i could feel my skin burning, and i was exhausted.

Thank you Shannon for planning these fun days for all of us! i enjoy it a ton! and so does emma :)

This is what Emma woke up to!

She LOVES cupcakes. To eat, and to look at. So that was the theme of the day. She had "cupcakes" for breakfast (Chocolate chip muffin) We went to her favorite places. Disneyland was first, i didnt take any pictures because im lame....

But after disneyland we went to her second favorite place... nanas!!! Where she opened her BIKE!!!

Seriously, is she not THE cutest?!? gosh i love her!!

Then we went up Nanas hill to visit the chickens! Emma LOVES them. She feeds them and tries to catch them. my lil Elmira... remember her? haha. that is TOTALLY emma! The chickens usually hid from her... she really loves them and tries to catch some.
Nana had some accidnetal sunflowers boom. yes this was an accident. theres something amazing in Nanas soil...

After lunch we came home and had a 2 HOUR NAP!!! Which is RARE, i think this was the 2nd time EVER. it was amazing!!!! happy birthday to ME right?!

We went to Grammys house after our nap and opened some presents...

And had some cake. made by yours truly. im amazing. i made the frosting too! and they were SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

Kelly has Sundays and Mondays off now, and it is SO fun because we actually get to do fun things!!!!! This past monday we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific down in long beach! It was Emmas dream come true! We were there for a few hours, unfortunately my camera died after the first hour so i didnt get to many pictures... but heres the ones i did.,.

Right after i took this picture some creepo came up and secretly took a picture of my baby. Needless to say i ripped his head off.,,,

this is, of course, when my camera died. we waited for the "Childrens Program" and they took volunteers to help put on the play. Emma kept saying.. ME?! Me?!?! Me!! So the lady let her come up and be the jellyfish. Seriously, it was SO cute. Kelly and i both agreed she doesnt get that from either of us, thats the LAST thing either of us wanna do. haha! But we love her for that! The rest of the day we watched the sharks, got to pet some sting rays and lil sharks that supposedly dont bite, i beg to differ.. we ate lunch at Bubba Gumps across the street. Seriously you HAVE to eat there, SO good and such a fun place to eat. Just take out a loan before you go because its EXPENSIVE!! All in all it was SUCH a fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom came with us on Tuesday to disneyland! I cant remeber the last time i have been to disneyland with my mom and it was SO fun! We stopped at the princess store and the girls got their dresses. Emma got a minni mouse dress, she takes after me and i know she wouldnt wanna be in a scratchy dress, and they were all to big. The minnie mouse dress was size 18months. LoL. Im pretty sure shes a little person.

So my sister and her family have a spot where they love to go camping. they went yesterday so Emma and i went down with the to check it out! we had SO much fun! THANK YOU DOWNS FAMILY!

So i didnt start taking pictures until late in the day, cause well i just didnt think of it. But i still got some cute pictures!

Then we went back to their camp and had S'Mores! Emma just ate the marshmellows, and had a 'stache for awhile, and then the mood began to go down hill, this was about 6pm... and 7pm emma is a total mess.. so we were gettin there!!

We tried to catch the sunset, but we were a little late....

All in all, it was SUCH a fun day! Emma LOVES the beach!!! Which makes it that much more fun!

We had some close family friends in town this weekend that were at disneyland, so we spent the rest of easter with them! emma LOVED them! An earthquake hit when we were there, and it was pure chaos, but also kind of cool.... We had so much fun hanging out with the Strongs! Thank you Strongs!!!

My niece Ava turned 2 today!!! So to celebrate Tiff took us to DownTown Disney. I left my camera at home, im sure she'll blog about it soon. Emma chose a Kitty, and she LOVES it! Kitty had to read bed time stories with us tonight, and while we said our prayers Emma held on to her tight. I laid her down with Kitty still in her arms, when i went back in to check on her she was all cuddled up with it! SO cute

Back Story to the sheets. Emma is a tom boy. LOVES dinosaurs, dragons, Toy Story is her favorite movie, along with Shrek. Well tiff had these sheets from Jack, and she offered them to us. Im always up for free stuff. Especially more sheets, we only had a couple and were cycling through them like crazy. So emma asked for the Diego ones, when i put them on you should of heard her reaction. she jumped up and down and screamed THANK YOU TEET!!!!!!!!! ( she calls tiffany, teet. hilarious i know.) So we're stuck with these for awhile. Im afriad of her reaction when i have to take them off. Wish me luck.

We had a last minute trip to Utah a couple weeks ago! It was SO fun! Emma and i Flew and Kelly drove (ong story there, dont feel like typing it all out) Anywho..We did a whole lot of nothing while we were there and it was SO fun! Emmas First Haircut!!

Emmas hair is not to long, but got very scraggly (sp?) looking and just needed some shape. Kelly was very apprehensive, i think he was afraid how old she would look after! But i used my wifey charm on him, and we went today to get it done! seriosuly, im SO happy with it! And the lady taught me a couple tricks how to do her hair!!! Enough talk.. Lets get to some pics right?!

But once the lady put the apron on her, she wasnt so sure, so she got a sucker...

So kelly and i are planning on going on a cruise in October with all of our friends in Utah (seriously, SO excited) No babies are allowed, so my AMAZING AWESOME sister will be watching Miss Emma while we are gone. So i figure Emma has to get ready for a big girl bed wayyy before then.. so we started TONIGHT!!! ts actually happening right now as i type!!! HEr crib turns into a "daybed" and then eventually a twin bed! She LOVED it when we switched it up today..

And this is her right now! So far, so good! yes, i lined the floor with pillows and blankets. We'lll see how she does in the morning!

So i was dreading that whole tmobile crap... well at like 830am i got a text,and thought.. ughh there's another 20 cents! Well it was my amazingly thoughtful husband, he had called tmobile and had it all figured out and fixed. our bill is back to its normal amount, and i have texting now.. sorry chelsea i shoulda texted this part to ya! its all fixed and I'm a happy camper!

Now my next mission is to lower our Energy bill! So far, so good! who knew there were so many programs out there! yay for being poor, lol!

Speaking of money and such, not sure if i blogged about it, but many of you know i recently got a seasonal job at Macys in the children's department! I absolutely LOVE it! I never thought id love retail! Well my manager asked if i would want to be hired on after the season! I said YES! So i was scheduled for an "Exit Interview" at the end of this month where i would have the chance. My manager called last night and had some good slash bad news for me. He said there weren't any openings in the childrens department, however, they are hiring in the womens Shoes department (which is salary PLUS commission!) and he wanted to know if i was interested, i said OF COURSE! So i had an interview today. It went.. ok.. i'm just not so good talking about myself, its awkward and weird. that manager told me she would be calling me by Thursday since she had so many other interviews (they ALWAYS say that) She called today! Unfortunately i missed the call, so ill have to call her tomorrow! So cross your fingers for me, say a little prayer, do a little dance, keep me in your thoughts!

BOO T MOBILE!!!

i hate tmobile. more than i can ever explain in words. first my sidekick was destroyed they "lost" all my informattion. ALL of it. I cried. And for weeks had a phone that was basically useless, yet still had to pay for it? odd i know..

Money is tight, as always. So me being the good wifey i am, decided to rid my sidekick ( it wasn't very dependable anywho) and get a regular old school phone. I call Tmobile.. get rid of my sidekick plan and keep my Unlimited Loyalty plan. Loyalty as in, ive been with tmobile for WAY to many years. Well im reassured by bith the Tmobile rep at the store, and the lady on the phone that yes everything is the same and i am covered.

I check my bill before i go to bed, actually in bed... and it says $399. No thats not a typo.. thats THREE HUNDRED NINTY NINE DOLLARS. Why? oh yeah because the decided halfway through the month that the UNLIMITED everything LOYALTY plan, doesnt cover EVERYTHING, such as TEXTING!!!!

I text, a lot. i probably need a 12 step program, or rehab. And tmobile knows this, they love me for this. WHY THE HELL WOULDNT THEY TELL ME OR OFFER ME A TEXT MESSAGING PLAN!!!!!

If you think im going to pay this bill, youve lost your mind. Ill blog about my great adventures with Tmbile. I feel sorry for the poor girl/guy that answers in the billing department tomorrow....... UGH!!!!!!!

...So that means no pictures! Sorry. But not much has been g oing on in the morrison home, at lease not much to blog about. Its christmas time on the christensen side of our family. All of our christmas trees are up and decorated. We start WAY early, and i LOVE it!

We were planning a trip to utah before the end of the year, but money is so tight right now, its not gonna happen. Sorry chelsea. :( Speaking of money, i did however get another seasonal job, this time for a little longer than A WEEK! So lame , that halloween job, so lame. I am now a sales associate at Macys! yay me! Ive been looking for my "nitch" in life ,and applying for, and acquiring jobs is apparently my NITCH! Im two for two! I work evenings from 6pm until close! Cant wait to start having a little extra cash flowin in!

Emma is growing..no.. shes about the same size.. but she is talking a lot more, and running now, everywhere. She loves touching EVERYTHING especially when i ask her not to touch something. Love her.

Kelly is doing awesome at his job! e loves it, and i love seeing the passion in his eyes when he talks about it. He is such a great people person, and a salesman! Id buy anything from him *wink*wink* (not sure what thats suppose to mean) As i acquire jobs, he acquires tickets, he got a parking ticket (which was ALMOST a towing expense, thank you tow truck man!) and now a seatbelt ticket. Im so proud.

Well, thats about all thats been going on in the morrison home! I promise to post lots of pics next post, i have to get my darn camera back from my sister! Until next time america! ;)

Ive noticed this year i'm learning the power of prayer! We've had our ups and downs financially. I recently got an evening job at a Halloween store. Theyve only given me a couple hours a week, and i have been so bummed about it because i thought it would help us out a ton! Well tonight i was crunching numbers and figuring out our budget for the next month, silently praying to myself that we somehow could make things work. Well not 30 minutes later i get a phone call from a random number, it was my schedule manager asking me to work 8 hours tomorrow, and 8 hours on Saturday! I was a little bummed because its Emmas first "real" Halloween, but shes not going to trick-or-treat, she HATES masks and scary things. So after Kelly and i discussed it, (and i made my mom and sister tell me i'm not a bad mom) i called my manager back and said i was available! I know its not very many hours, but it is a lot more than what i was originally getting! My prayer was answered! and my testimony grew that much more!

So for those of you who dont know, at the regular fireworks show at disneyland, Tinkerbell flies out of the matterhorn mountain and flies across/behind the castle. Well a few weeks ago we were there when the fireworks show started so we sat down to watch, out came tinkerbell ( a real person mind you, she HAS to be paid A LOT) and this was emmas, and kellys reaction...

I got to babysit my niece Ava the other day. The girls play good together, as long as Emmas not touching Avas toys. Emma loves to make anyone and everyone chase her, especially Sassy. She usually takes Avas favorite blankey and runs with it screaming and laughing. Well this day it turned into a hilarious friendly wrestling match. Heres the play by play.

And the tackled her again. Can you tell Ava has three older brothers? Ha!

I think Ava started feeling bad cause she got off Emma and laid down and signed "more" so Emma sat on her back, and they both were cracking up...

Needless to say, Ava walked away the victorious one.

Irvine Zoo

So its been awhile since i last blogged, adn this pictures are out of order.. Anywho. I heard about this Zoo in Orange (called the IRVINE zoo?, yah i dont get it either) anywho, it has a train ride pony rides, a lake and a bunch of funt hings to do! heres some pics..

This was on the way home, successful, happy, fun day!!! (thats cotton candy all over her face)

We fed the ducks some cookies.

There was a Zoo inside the park, it cost 2 bucks! And was more than worth it. There was a small petting zoo inside and Emma LOVED it. Kelly taught her how to brush the goats, and she spent the next 20 minutes chasing them around trying to brush them, dont worry i washed her hand after this

Ive been pretty crafty lately, well not really CRAFTY, but crafty for me! ( i dont do crafts) anywho.. i went to a little shop in brea the other day and got some great ideas!

Wipe Case! I saw this in the store adn they were charging like 20 bucks! And i thought to myself, "Self, you have a wipey case, and CUTE fabric, you could EASILY do that" So me and myself went home and did it! It didnt turn out SO well, but it was my practice run! Ill perfect it soon enough and maybe ill see you one for $30!
I painted Emmas room green, before i even knew who Emma was! But the crafty bug bite me again, and i decided to add more PINK to her room. HEr closet was already this color, and she needed more pink!
Saw this in that shop, and they were charging 25 for it... and i had the same discussion with myself.. and came home and made it! The flower and ribbon are from my diaper cake my sister made me for my shower ages ago, ok like 2 years ago, but it seems forever ago!!
And yes she has THAT many bows, and no she doenst leave them in, and hardly lets me BRUSH her hair let alone put something cute in it!

I was going to get Emmas ears pierced when she was 2 months old, but i watched my niece do it first, and it broke my heart.. so ive been putting it off. Well the other day we went to the mall and i felt brave, and Emma was in a good mood, so why not ruin it right? Anywho.. Heres the end result!!!

We went to disneyland, and acted like tourists and took pics with minnie mouse. Emma was SO excited to see her, until we were inces away... then she was terrified! (yes i know, im huge, ive already lost 10 pounds, ive got about 20 more to go, and this picture is my motivation)

Kelly has been out of town since Sunday, and we miss him TERRIBLY!!! This is Emmas reaction everytime kelly said, "Hi babygirl!" on speaker phone! haha

Emma got quite the doll house for her birthday a couple months ago, and loves it! However, she has now decided to conquer the house and thinks/wants to fit through the front door....

She got stuck a couple times! Crazy baby!!

Sidenote: how cute is this?! Kelly got it for me for my birthday!!!! i LOVE love love it! Ive been picking it up and putting it back at Target for a couple weeks now! haha! And so he, being the amazing husband got it for me!!! thanks hunny!!! love yoU!!!

On saturdays we usually dont have much to do. I have a couple cleaning jobs, and sometimes laundry but thats about it! So we always try to think of fun things to do. Now that Emma is getting older we can do so much more and she can actually appreciate it a little! So Last saturday we decided to go to the LA zoo! Its so close and neither one of us have been! (disclaimer: i went when i was a babe, but i dont remember so it doesnt count, sorry mom)

It was seriously like 200 degrees that day, so all the animals were pretty much hidden... and we were sweatin like cra-za-zy

apparently this time of year is mating season for Flamingos! And apparently they get it on in THE stinkiest nastiest place ever! They were buildin nest and hatching eggs and it was THE worst smelling thing ever! There was a sign (should have got a picture sorry) warning about the smell and saying that it was normal. Im sorry but there was nothing normal about that smell. Anywho, this lil guy (at the mamas feet) was hatched just two days before!!!

Emma loved this hate, dont worry i didnt embarrass her by making her wear it, i didnt even buy it, we just took a pic because she loved it so darn much!
Once the Zoo closed we dreaded getting back on the bumper to bumper freeway so we killed A LOT of time. Drove around Griffith park. apparently theres some HUGE ferris wheel there but it was CLOSED, lame. But i found this sign in the parking lot funny!
We then went to the Glendale Galleria, and parked at some fancy smancy place and got real cokes in glass bottles, emma had a lil treat.. had to document my bad parenting just for you! Needless to say she loved it!
We shoped as H&M and emma fell in love with these glasses...kelly fell asleep...ha

All in all it was a Grrrreat day!!!

Emmas favorite thing to do lately....

Our first black eye. Now that emma is walking i guess i should get use to her getting hurt. But, so far this one is the worst! She fell and hit her cheek on her toy chest!

First swim day!!! Its finally warming up enough to swim!!!
The girls and their lil pool, yah this lasted like 5 minutes until they wanted to get in with the big kids.
Look how excited she is to go swimmin...hahaha

Emma is OFFICIALLY a walker!!! Today is the day she decided once she took a spill to get up and keep going! Usually she would take a few steps here and there but once she fell she would start crawling again. Today at my moms house for dinner, she decided to just keep on walking!! So my BFF for life (hillary in case you didnt know, and if you didnt know, you dont know me so get off my blog!) got Emma this amazingly cute tutu the other day... why you ask? just for fun...

Lately i cant tear this child away from Yo Gabba Gabba.... so she wouldnt look at the camera..

We went to a wedding last weekend.. sooo much fun! They were sealed in the San DIego Temple..adn let me tell you, in case you havent been, it is gorgeous!!!!!
anywho.. Emma wore the tutu to (ha) the wedding. It was an all day afair, they were sealed for time and all eternity (dont you just LOVE that?) at 2 down in san diego and the reception was at 6 in Temecula. We got to San Diego INCREDIBLY early.. yah we were there at 11am... so we played around for awhile.. then after the wedding we went straight to temecula for the reception and didnt get home until around 10, and Emma i think napped maybe once?.... So at the end of the reception...this is how i found her...
She is SO attached to pa-key and her dad lately... its quite cute...
told ya it was cute...

So anywaysss on more current events.. today i got to babysit my neice Ava and nephew Jack for a couple hours! It was seriously SO fun! The girls are too cute together.. i tried to get pictures but between them being so "busy" and my camera dieing and being full.. i only got one pic.. i know, i failed. But look how cute they are. They were playing on the back patio, and heard some noises out side... so both of them laid on their bellies and watched whomever was out there! haha Bunch of nosey old ladies already! I love it!

( and yes that is the diaper champ outside.. its airing out fro a few days..ha)

i also found them playin gpeek-a-boo, sharing snacks, sippie cups, and playing catch.. man my stupid camera i know! maybe next time!!!

St George, 2009

Hope you ready for an awesome post with lots of pictures, and wayyyy better than Chelsea's, yah i said it!

We went to St George again this year with all of kellys friends, and babies! It was seriously the trip of the year! Not sure much can top it.

I dont have pictures, but we had AMAZING crepes made by Andy.. they were so good.. to bad alex tried to sabotage it and NOT get nutella, who DOESNT get nutella for crepes! Seriously, who invited him anyways!

So after we FINALLY got crepes WITH nutella... The babies decided to take a dip in the pool, Emma thought Tessa was HILARIOUS!

We played Uno, and thanks to my awseomness i taught everyone prison rules, even though they were used against me but whatev... well the last game, the loser had to see how many gummi worms he/she could fit in their mouth! Well from there it went downhill, the lame-0s went to bed a the elite stayed awake and played high school games, as chelsea refers to them.

Well by the end of the trip Emma and Tessa were friends... and that made me happy!

Mothers Day!

Not my first, but so far my best! Last year Emma was just a few weeks old and i was still in a haze! haha! This year was awesome! To strat it off, emma. slept. through. the. night. YEP! I was so happy/scared when i woke up! haha! Then at about 730 she decided to get up for the day, my amazing husband quickly took her out and let me sleep.in. YEP! Around 83oish i woke up to breakfast. in. bed. and. PINK. roses. YEP!! We got ready for church after that and enjoyed going to my mothers ward! All of us went! It was so fun! After we went to Nanas house to wish her a Happy Mothers day and brong her some flowers (cause we're awesome like that) The rest of the day was spent at my moms house just relaxing and a BBQ for dinner! My mom got me the Dr. Laura book. She has a radio talk show, and shes pretty awesome. heres some pics from that day...

Our tiny peanut!

So since i was pregnant with miss Emma i have occasioally refered to her as our "peanut". We recently went to the doctor for her 1yr check out, and well she is DEFINETLY a peanut! She weighs, 18 ounds and is 27 3/4 inches long. Shes in the 10th percentile for weight, and 40th for height! And yes the doctor said she is perfectly healthy and NOT related to Amy Roloff! Shes just our little peanut!
