1 Month!!!

Emma is ALREADY 1 month old! Kelly and i took her today to get her pictures taken...

This pass weekend was deathly hot.... and nursing on hot days.... not so fun... This is the only way Emma would eat... cant blame her... i would have LOVED to do the same! hahaa


For all you mothers who are going to look at this... i didnt walk away from the bed... so dont freak.. and dont call me and give me advice about putting the baby on the bed.... hahahah!

Such is life...

So this pass weekend... was HOT.. and i mean HOT... Poor Emma was so fussy... heck i was too! There was no releif.. no AC.. and my parents AC had broken... So.. we broke down and ordered a portable AC unit.. theyre pretty expensive and we have been toughing it out.. but thanks to Emma we finally ordered one... well... it came TODAY!!!



Beautiful isnt it? hahah oh well it will cool us off and thats what we need! But.. SUCH IS LIFE (see this is where i tie in the title to the article... im tricky) this is what we woke up to today as well... A THUNDER STORM!!! Its currently pouring rain and thunder and lightning like crrrrrazy!... and im a WUSS and debating going to my sisters house so i wont be alone! hahaha!


Another SUCH IS LIFE moment.... for those of you who dont know.. i LOVE and i mean LOVE LOVE LOVE anything zebra print... ask kelly.. it literally takes my breath away when i see ANYTHING zebra print.... so Emma and i went shopping because thats what mothers and daughters do.. and LOOK what the have at babies r us... a whole SET zebra print!!!! I asked kelly if its to late to change my mind... he said yes... so i just bought this changing pad cover and the receiving blankets... that curved my addiction a little.... at lease for now!!!

Matching !!

SO i found this cute onsie at hot topic.. ... i bought it before we even knew what we were having... well i loved it.. and kept it... i found a matching shirt about 4 days ago.. it was EXACT same as the onsie and they had MY size!!! i was so excited! SO Emma and I had a matching day!!! haha! And yes i still need to lose like 20-30 pounds.... Adn yes this whole story was really unnecessary!

Life is SO fun now... haha

So last sunday.. i baby-dropped kelly.. she was fussy and he was playing videogames in chases room... i needed a break... so i said... Hold her for a second please? and then went upstairs and got "distracted" ha! After about 20 minutes i thought... wow its awfully quiet down there... so i went downstairs and this is what i found.....

For the record... all kelly has to do is hold Emma either on his lap or his chest and she passes out.. he must be really comfy?

Kelly decided while i was about 7 months pregnant that he wasnt going to cut his hair until the baby came.... it drove me NUTS!!! He is SUCH a good looking clean cut guy... maybe a midlife crisis? not sure! He looks cute w/ long hair.. ill give him that... but... lets just keep it short and spikey from now on!!

My mom offered to babysit while i ran to target and cleaned my dads office.... so while i was at target buying pacifiers(yes she takes and loves them ) i found this cute dress! Shopping for Emma is so much more fun when i can go home and put it on her! ha!

Oh man i love this girl SO much! I dont really FEEL like a mother yet though.... i feel like im babysitting w/o the annoyance... ha....

Motherhood (rambling sorry)

I have been SO blessed with this AMAZING baby! She sleeps through the nights... wakes up every 3 hours to eat.. eats for about 10-15 minutes.. change her.. sometimes get poop'd on...laugh... and then back to sleep! I probably shouldnt brag to much cause it could change at any moment! Ha! But for now i am enjoying it! Emma is awesome... Labor and pregnancy were TOTALLY worth it!!!!! I dont really miss being pregnant but i do randomly miss the hospital? I drove by it the other day to take Emma to the doctor and got so sad!!! Could just be the hormones? Speaking of which, Emma smiled SO big randomly in her sleep... and i cried.... hahaha! I never knew i could love someone as much as i do! My love for Kelly has grown a thousands times as well! He is SUCH an amazing man and SO supportive i wish you all could have seen his sweet face when Emma came into this world!!! HE is a GREAT father and an even more amazing husband! I tend to tell to much info and hes such a good sport about it.. if something crazy gross weird whatever happens i have to be vocal about it and laugh about it and he has been the victim more than enough times! I love him so much! He is SO willing to help! Even at 5am when the baby i fussing to eat he asks.. want me to take her?.. i wish i could have him feed her too.. but breast milk only comes from one of us! He does change many diapers! and i thank him for that!! But all in all he is THE most amazing man and i am so thankful and so blessed to have such an amazing husband!!!!!!!!!!
